My name is Nova and I am trying to get help for my mom, Michelle, who is 69 and needs a liver transplant. She lives with my stepdad, Bob, also 69, and their 8 cats. Bob has been her sole caregiver and works (manually with no insurance) to support them. After she was diagnosed with Cirrhosis in mid-September 2024, Bob has barely been able to work because of all of the hospital and doctor appointments, in addition to her care at home.

They need to travel to Jacksonville, Florida, to the Mayo Clinic in order to have a week-long onslaught of testing performed to check her liver transplant viability in July. They do not have the money for the hotel stay, the pet sitter, food while there, nor the money he will be missing from work that entire week.
