Thank you for taking a moment to read this message written by Ana Maria (Michelle’s loving mom) and Theresa (a dear friend of 30+ years), as we're creating this fundraiser for our beloved Michelle Zaldumbide.

Michelle was recently diagnosed with a recurrence of endometrial (uterine) cancer. What many may not know is that she was first diagnosed in February 2023 and quietly and courageously navigated that chapter with surgery, regular follow-up visits, holistic care including lab work and scans, which initially showed clear margins. Despite ongoing symptoms like fatigue and pelvic pain, her scans remained clear—until recently. A biopsy has now confirmed the return of this same type of estrogen-sensitive cancer. Thankfully, it is considered slow-growing, non-aggressive, and treatable. This is not a genetic cancer but rather an estrogen-sensitive type.

Michelle has always been a deeply private person, and reaching out for support in such a public way is not the most comfortable thing for her. But she feels that sharing her journey is also part of her healing. Learning to receive help and support has become an important part of that process.

Michelle is truly one of those rare, radiant souls who brings warmth and kindness wherever she goes. A lover of life, animals, music, and nature, Michelle’s spirit touches everyone she meets. She carries a deep wisdom and compassion, always showing up for others with an open heart and a gentle strength. Whether offering care to others, rescuing and fostering animals, sharing her beautiful voice, or simply being present—she lives with intention, joy, and love.

Michelle is one of the strongest, most resilient, and compassionate souls we know. She’s been deeply private throughout this journey but has come to understand that sharing her story is also a powerful part of healing. This is our opportunity to rally around her—to support, uplift, and ease her path through what comes next.

The Journey Ahead

Michelle deeply believes in the body’s ability to heal and is committed to a path that includes both Western medicine and Eastern holistic therapies. However, she is currently unable to work, and her family is still grieving the recent loss of her father. The emotional and financial impact has been a lot to deal with.

We are starting with the goal of raising $20K but hope to raise more!! This will help her with both medical expenses and holistic treatments NOT covered by insurance.

Funds Will Support:

* Co-pays & medical bill expenses not 100% covered by insurance

* Integrative cancer care (doctor's visits, ongoing monitoring, acupuncture, IV vitamin therapy, red light therapy, etc.)

* Nutritional support, supplements, and healing treatments not covered by insurance

* Powerful healing intensive at the Hippocrates Wellness Center (FL) OR Hope4 Cancer Treatment Center OR Envita Medical Center

* Emotional recovery and time to rest without financial pressure

Many of these integrative therapies are essential but NOT covered by insurance. Our initial goal is $20,000, and any contribution—no matter the size—will go directly toward Michelle’s care and recovery.
