We may never know when life gives us the most unexpected curves. What we do know is that no matter what life may give us, God is always by our side to provide. Many know by now that Michelle was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Rectal Cancer. Anyone who knows Michelle, Bryan, and their two young girls, Naomi (7) and Mia (4), knows they are some of the kindest people who would give the shirt off their back for others.

Michelle initially spent a week at KCH where she had a PICC line placed for TPN/Lipids/Antibiotics and had a sigmoidoscopy revealing a tumor. Michelle was then transferred to The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus where she spent another week following a surgery to have a colostomy created.

Michelle will have 5 weeks of radiation and 4 months of chemotherapy at The James ahead of her. There will also be more surgeries ahead for port placement, tumor removal, and hopefully colostomy reversal, to name a few.

Many have reached out asking how they can help. More than anything, Michelle and Bryan ask for continued prayers during this journey and wisdom for the medical team involved in Michelle's care. They know that God is with them and that He has a plan.
