Help Michelle Fight Ovarian Cancer

As a mother, there are moments in life that change you forever. For our family, that moment came on April 3, 2026, when our daughter, Michelle, was diagnosed with Stage 1 ovarian cancer.

Nothing prepares you for hearing that your child has cancer. In what felt like the blink of an eye, our lives became filled with doctor’s appointments, difficult decisions, and endless uncertainty. On April 30, 2026, Michelle underwent a hysterectomy. While we were grateful that the surgery was successful, we soon learned that her journey wasn’t over. Her doctors recommended six rounds of chemotherapy to give her the best chance at a cancer-free future.

Watching Michelle go through this has been one of the most heartbreaking experiences of our lives. We’ve seen her endure surgery, physical pain, overwhelming fatigue, nausea, and the emotional challenges that come with chemotherapy. Through it all, she has shown incredible courage and strength, even on the days when simply getting out of bed feels like a victory.

As treatment continues, the financial burden continues to grow. Between transportation to chemotherapy appointments, copays for treatments and follow-up care, and meals during long treatment days, the costs quickly add up. We want Michelle to focus on healing and regaining her strength—not worrying about how she’s going to afford the expenses that come with fighting cancer.
