Michelle was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia on April 7, 2025 after a severe migraine with double vision forced her to go to the ER. She was admitted to the hospital for 4 weeks for intense chemo, procedures, and medical care to save her life. Now, she has to be admitted to the hospital every few weeks for several days of harsh chemo. As I am someone who personally battles several serious chronic illnesses, I know first hand that a medical diagnosis does not just impact someone physically, but also financially. The medical bills pile up, while everyday costs of living like groceries, car payments, insurance, and other needs still must be paid. I want to help relieve this burden from Michelle and her husband, William, so they can focus on Michelle's health and care and not have to stress as much over another area of life. The funds raised in this fundraiser will all be given to them to help cover vital necessities such as her medical bills, groceries, costs of daily living, and gas for all the driving to and from the hospital and doctor's appointments.
