Please help me save my home. Last year, I chose to get out of my abusive marriage after finding out my ex cheated on me. I am praying that I am finally divorced by August. Because I asked for the divorce and had to get a restraining order on him back in January, my ex wants to make sure I suffer financially. The last time I received any financial support for our kids and animals from my ex was back in November, and that was a $100. From November 2023 to May 2024, I have been paying an extra $1500.00 a month to support our kids and animals and got behind on my mortgage.

I have been working hard to find a second job at night to help get caught up and I was in the process of getting a loan modification and needed my ex's signature on the documents, but he refused. I am currently $12,000 behind on my mortgage and was told yesterday that I need to come up with at least $8800.00 by June 30th in order to stop foreclosure. This is so hard for me to ask for help, but I don't know what else to do. I just want to keep my kids and animals safe as we get through the divorce. Thank you so much for your help.
