Hi, my name is Michelle.
I live on a small farm on Long Island, New York, where I care for several animals—4 horses, 5 chickens, 6 goats, a mini horse, a donkey, 4 rabbits, 4 cats and a duck who all mean the world to me.
Recently, I lost my other half. This is the second time I’ve had to go through such a painful loss, and now I’m trying to keep the farm and animals going on my own. It’s been extremely hard emotionally and financially, but I’m doing my best each day.
I’ve always been someone who gives love and care freely to animals, and they rely on me for everything—food, shelter, and care. Since my special half John has passed, it’s become harder and harder to afford feed, hay, and basic supplies. Some days I don’t know how I’ll keep up, but I get up every morning because these animals count on me. They are part of my family, and I won’t give up on them.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and for any support, whether it's a donation or just sharing this page, it is greatly appreciated
With love,
Michelle
