Support Michelle's Brave Battle Against Cancer

Our little sister, Michelle, has been battling breast cancer like an absolute boss for the past 6 months. Her story, in her own words, is below. As you might imagine, all of the battling cancer, retrieving eggs to someday have children, and time off of work has also had a significant financial impact.

Life update from Michelle:

Over the last 6 months, I’ve been through some of the toughest and most life-changing experiences of my life. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, I made the incredibly difficult decision to undergo a double mastectomy. This journey has challenged me in ways I never imagined—physically, emotionally, and mentally. But through it all, I’ve found strength, resilience, laughter, a sense of hope, and smaller Tatas.

I also went through egg retrieval to give myself the option of starting a family down the line, knowing that cancer treatments can affect fertility.

I’m almost at the end of my cancer treatments now, and while it’s been an emotional rollercoaster, I feel empowered. I’m sharing this not only to keep my loved ones updated but also to raise awareness about the importance of early detection, asking questions, and advocating for your own health. This journey is far from over, but I’m facing it with strength, hope, and gratitude, and I stand in solidarity with anyone else going through something similar.
