Help 30-Year-Old Mom; Michelle Fight Stage IV Breast Cancer

Donation protected
Hi everyone,

This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write, but here we go.

My name is Michelle, and at just 29 years old, I am fighting the biggest battle of my life.

Throughout 2024, my health slowly began to decline. I felt weaker, more exhausted, and everyday tasks became harder and harder—but despite multiple doctor visits, no one could give me answers.

By early 2025, even basic daily responsibilities and working became a struggle. I knew something wasn’t right, but I never imagined what was coming.

On April 6th, a scan revealed lesions on my spine. Doctors told me this likely meant metastatic disease. The following weeks were filled with mammograms, scans, biopsies, and countless appointments. Then came the moment that changed everything.

Sitting in my oncologist’s office, I finally received the explanation I had been searching for—but it was the one diagnosis I never expected to hear at my age.

I have Stage IV breast cancer.

The cancer is aggressive and has already spread from my breast to my spine.

Since then, I have started treatment. Some days are better than others, but this journey is incredibly difficult—physically, emotionally, and financially. Still, I am choosing to stay hopeful and keep fighting.

Most importantly, I am fighting for my young daughter.

She is my reason to stay strong. My reason to keep going. I want to be present for her, to keep loving her, guiding her, and watching her grow.

But right now, I need help.

Originally, I hoped to raise $1,600 just to catch up on immediate bills, but the reality is that I was already behind before my diagnosis. Medical bills are already piling up, and the treatments—and the toll they take on my body—make it impossible for me to work consistently.

Because of this, I am asking for help to get my family through the next six months so I can focus on what matters most: fighting this cancer and staying here for my daughter.

Funds will help cover essential living expenses including:

• Rent & utilities — $2,000
• Transportation and care-related costs — $1,800
• Medical bills & out-of-pocket treatment costs — $3,500

Every donation—no matter the amount—helps lift a small part of this overwhelming burden. Your support allows me to focus on healing instead of worrying about how we will get through the next month.

If you’re not able to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much. Prayers, kind thoughts, and spreading the word truly make a difference.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for supporting my family during one of the hardest times in our lives.

With all the love in the world,
Michelle Mayo
XOXOXO
