Support Michelle's Battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer

Hi everyone-

My name is Michelle, and I am currently fighting the biggest battle of my life.

In 2024, my health was declining but my doctors had no answers for me. By early 2025, I struggled with the strength to complete daily tasks including the ability to work, yet still no explanation. On April 6th a scan revealed lessions on my spine, which I was told indicated that I had metastic disease. The weeks that followed, involved multiple doctor visits, mammograms, other scans, and biopsies. Then sitting in the oncologist's office, I was given a long overdue explanation. I heard the official diagnosis that I never expected to hear at the age of 29. That this is stage IV breast cancer. The aggressive cancer had already spread from my breast to my spine.

I have started treatments and somedays are better than others. I know I have a difficult journey ahead of me but I am choosing to remain optimistic. I have to remain optimistic, not only for myself but for my young daughter. I need to be able to stay present and stay strong for her.

I need help!

Originally, I was seeking for $1,600 to cover immediate needs, but the truth is- I was behind to start with, so that amount is only going to bring me to current with a little to spare- Medical bills are already piling up. Throughout this journey, the physical and emotional toll the treatments will have on my body, will prevent me from being able to work consistently. Because of this, I am asking for help to get me and my family through the next six months.

Why I Am Asking For Help-

I am raising funds to help cover:

• Rent and utilities = $2,000

• Transportation and general care related costs = 1,800

• Medical bills/out of pocket costs for treatments, doctor visits, etc. = $3,500
