Help Me Fight for My Life Against a Rare and Incurable Condition ❤️‍

Hi, my name is Michelle, and my life changed forever this year.

In June, I was diagnosed with a 4-inch mass behind my heart—a mass so large that it’s compressing both lungs and my heart, wrapping around my aorta artery, esophagus, and windpipe, and pressing on my vagus nerve. Because of this, I live with constant pain, shortness of breath, hard time eating (food gets stuck going down), and intense heart palpitations. My heart rate is unpredictable, and I’m always fatigued, dizzy, and off balance—requiring a walker for support.

Doctors initially said that lymphoma cancer would be the “best-case scenario” because there’s treatment and a high survival rate. But after three biopsies, a complex surgery, and weeks of testing, I received a devastating diagnosis: I have a rare and incurable condition.

Over the last few months, I’ve been hospitalized multiple times—including a 14-day stay, a transfer to another hospital, and a 6-day stay after surgery due to complications. My body is recovering slowly, but the pain is unrelenting. Unfortunately, I’ve developed allergies to the strongest pain medications, leaving me to cope with severe discomfort daily. There’s not much I can do without triggering extreme symptoms.

I have been unable to work since June, and I am still not on treatment. Medical bills are mounting, and I’m struggling to cover basic living expenses. My only hope now is to see a specialist in Ohio—far from my home in Florida—or another specialist I’ve found in Florida, both requiring significant travel and lodging costs.

I’m asking for help to cover:

* Medical bills & future treatment costs

* Travel expenses to specialists and clinics

* Possible surgeries

* Basic living expenses while I am unable to work
