Support Michelle Teixeira's Road to Recovery

Donation protected
Our beloved friend encountered the unthinkable on Saturday, July 19th, 2025, when Michelle Teixeira was in an accident while on vacation with her family and friends in Cancun. Michelle sustained a severe spinal cord injury. Following an extensive surgery in Mexico she was transported, via a medivac plane, to University Hospital in San Antonio. She is currently recovering in the ICU. Her injuries have paralyzed Michelle from the chest down, with limited sensation. There is no indication that her condition will improve. There are many challenges in front of the Teixeira family including getting her to a rehabilitation facility and ongoing medical bills.

If you know Michelle, she never meets someone who doesn’t instantly become a friend. She is one of the most remarkable humans I have ever met. Even with her injuries, Michelle’s smile, and kindness, are contagious.

Michelle has dedicated her career to selflessly taking care of others as a nurse. Now it’s our turn to rally around Michelle and support her in any way that we can. This fundraising campaign is dedicated to supporting Michelle's medical care, rehabilitation, and the associated costs that lie ahead on her long road to recovery. Any contribution, big or small, will directly help Michelle and her family during this incredibly challenging time, allowing them to focus solely on her recovery. Your support means the world to Michelle, her husband (Fabian), and daughters. Please consider donating and sharing her story.
