For the last 9 years my life has revolved around my grandchildren. I have been there for every first day of school, every scraped knee and every bedtime story. I have been their primary caregiver and their constant, steady ground. Recently, our world was turned upside down, following a sudden legal filing. I have been unexpectedly separated from the children I have raised for nearly a decade. This transition has been abrupt and devastating. Not just for me, but for the children who are used to my daily care and presence.

My priority is and has always been, the safety and emotional health of the children. To navigate the complexities of family court and to address current legal barriers, I need specialized legal representation. The cost of a contested custody case and the work required are significant. I am starting this fundraiser to help cover attorney retainer fees, court filing and documentation costs, and professional evaluation fees to ensure my family's voices are heard.
