Michelle Scott has always been the heart of our family and a friend to so many in Oswego. For 30 years, she’s worked in the healthcare field, caring for patients and building relationships with everyone she meets. Most recently, she worked at Valero’s on East 1st, where her kindness and dedication touched countless lives.

This holiday season has been especially hard for Michelle. With only a week’s notice, she learned that her job would end on Saturday, leaving her without work right as the holidays approach. As if that wasn’t enough, all the money she had carefully saved for gifts for her children and grandchildren was stolen from her wallet. Watching her break down in tears was heartbreaking—she’s always put others first, and now she’s left with nothing until she can find a new job.

I’m reaching out to our community because I know how much Michelle has given over the years. She’s been a steady presence in Oswego for 40 years, always ready to help others. Now, she needs a little help herself. Any support you can give will help Michelle cover bills, provide gifts for her grandchildren, and give her some financial stability as she searches for new work.
