For the past several months, many of you have watched Michelle battle Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma (DLBCL) with a level of strength that is nothing short of heroic. We recently received the news we were all dreading: the initial chemotherapy did not clear the cancer. A recent PET scan revealed that the mass in her chest has grown. In medical terms, Michelle is now facing "primary resistant" lymphoma. She will need to begin immunotherapy, which brings new challenges and uncertainty.
