Support Michelle Rogers battling a brain tumor

Dear loving friends and family, I'm Alicia and I'm fundraising for my mom, Michelle Rogers, who has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. Please take a moment to read through her story and share.

In 2018, Michelle had a sudden brain aneurysm. Against all odds, they were able to perform surgery and Michelle had survived this traumatic and life threatening aneurysm. During this time she was unable to work and had to use all of her emergency funds. In the last 4 years she has had to take time off work for 3 different surgeries on her brain to keep the aneurysm from erupting again. This has taken a major toll on her and my dad financially.

During a check up MRI and CT scan of her head to check on the aneurysm last year a brain tumor was found. Over the past year the tumor has grown to 3.5 CM and the doctor has now said he wants to remove it. It is unknown if it is cancerous but the doctor said it is unlikely (). However, after the past few years my mom just can't afford another few months off work. My Mom works as a PSW helping people daily, which is something she is very passionate about. Even throughout these very difficult times she has somehow managed to keep being the uplifting positive Mother, Wife, Grandmother, friend and support worker she is and has worried more about helping the people around her then herself but she now needs our help.

I'm asking for the communities help to take the stress of the financial burden off my mom so she can heal. Any amount is apppreciated and thanks for listening to her story. ❤️
