Michelle Reed is my very dear Sister-Friend, and right now, she and her family are facing one of the toughest challenges of their lives. Michelle is bravely battling cancer, and due to the intensity of her treatments, she is unable to continue her career. She lives in the DC area with her devoted husband, John, and their two wonderful boys, ages 11 and 15. As Michelle’s health requires round-the-clock care, John has stepped up to be her full-time caregiver and is also homeschooling their sons. This means that neither Michelle nor John is able to work outside the home, leaving the family without a steady income.

The financial strain has been overwhelming. Daily living expenses continue to add up, and the medical bills are mounting as Michelle undergoes treatment. Despite these hardships, Michelle and her family remain hopeful and are doing everything they can to stay strong for each other. They are a close-knit family who have always given so much to their friends and community, and now they need our help more than ever.
