Support Michelle Oakes in Her Time of Need

My name is Michelle Oakes. I'm desperately asking for your help. I became disabled a couple of years ago. I have lumbar spinal stenosis and neuropathy in my hands and feet, keeping me confined to a wheelchair.

Spinal stenosis is a type of stenosis that occurs when the spinal canal or neural foramen narrows, putting pressure on the spinal cord or nerve roots. It can happen anywhere in the spine, but it's most common in the lower back. Symptoms include:

Pain, numbness, or weakness in the arms or legs

Cramping in the calves when walking

Pain that radiates into the thighs and legs, similar to sciatica

Difficulty walking or poor balance

Worsening numbness and weakness in the limbs

Problems controlling urine or bowel movements

I live alone and it is so hard to do daily chores. I was working for a local publication since 2017. When I became disabled, I just worked from home. I wasn't disabled when I started. Last year they went out of business. I can't work now. I can't drive anymore. I depleted all of my savings now. I have $1,200 to my name.

I'm trying to get social security disability. However, my doctor requested me to all of these specialists before she finishes the paperwork. Again, I can't get around. My mom passed away in 2012 and then my dad in 2013. I'm an only child. I don't have any children or anyone to help me get to the doctors. I can't afford the medical transportations now.

I'm at the end of my rope. My cat is so sick and I can't afford to take him to the vet. I'm living in filth. I need professional cleaners. I should not live in here. It's toxic.

I hope and wish you can help me. No one should live like this. If you can help me, I can start over and pray I could get on disability. I know it can take 6 months or longer.
