Hey all,

One of our beloved community members, Michelle Spikes, lost her mother, Bonnie, this past week. She was loved by many, and her and Michelle had an incredibly close bond and relationship.

Michelle is my friend who I know through our work at HIPS, but she’s been a staple to many folks in the HIPS and broader DC community and shown up for folks countless times as she’s doing now in honoring her mother’s memory. Please donate if you can, and share widely regardless to help Michelle and her family have the space they deserve to grieve and gather together in Bonnie’s remembrance. All of the funds will be used directly by Michelle and her family to cover funeral expenses.
