Support Michelle in Her Time of Loss

Hi, my name is Kia Sigears Ross and I'm fundraising for my dear friend, Michelle Patterson. With a heavy heart I must announce that tragically on Friday, April 13th, Michelle lost her father in a fatal car accident in Chattanooga, Tennessee. After losing her mother over a decade ago, the loss of Michelle's father, James, has been an overwhelming loss and has left her and her family with tremendous grief. Michelle and her father lived together and provided support for each other. In the wake of this devastating event, Michelle is facing immense grief and financial challenges. A significant burden has been placed on Michelle as an only child who has lost both of her parents.

I have set up a GoFundMe to help Michelle cover expenses that James would have taken care of, helped her with, and expenses of his that Michelle is now responsible for. Some of these expenses include funds spent traveling to Tennessee from Georgia where James accident occurred, household expenses, daily living expenses, care for pets, such as James beloved cat, Gene, and other pets. Michelle and Gene both loved attending ComicCon events together and in the wake of his passing I would love for her to still be able to enjoy one of their favorite pastimes without acquiring further financial burdens. I understand that finances are tight for a lot of us but any contribution you could make would be greatly appreciated and help provide one less worry for Michelle while dealing with such tremendous grief.
