UPDATE 04/03/2026:
We wanted to share an update on Michelle.
She is continuing to fight, and we are holding onto hope through every step of this journey. We’ve started to see some encouraging signs, including small movements, which mean so much to all of us right now.
On 4/3/26, she will be undergoing procedures to place a trach and a PEG tube. While this is a big step, it’s part of the process to help support her recovery and give her the best chance to keep moving forward.
We know this is going to be a long and tedious road, but Michelle is strong, and she is not giving up—so neither are we. Our hope is that she will soon be stable enough to move out of the ICU into a step-down room, and then into a long-term care facility where she can continue her recovery.
Thank you all for your continued support and prayers for our family. Your love and encouragement mean everything to us during this time.

Our family is going through something we never imagined.

On Tuesday, March 24th, 2026, Michelle Eberle (46), suffered a devastating accident that resulted in a severe traumatic brain injury. She sustained multiple skull and facial fractures, multiple brain bleeds, and significant swelling of the brain. Doctors had to perform emergency brain surgery try to save her life.

Michelle worked for the American Red Cross and dedicated her life to helping others. She is a hardworking single mom who has always put her children first.

Right now, she is in critical condition in the ICU. She is unresponsive and has recently started experiencing seizures, which doctors are working hard to control. We are facing incredibly difficult decisions and an uncertain future.

This has all happened so suddenly, and our family is doing everything we can to stay strong and be there for Michelle and her boys. We are starting this GoFundMe to help support our family with the overwhelming financial burden that comes with a medical crisis like this—hospital bills, ongoing care, and time away from work.

If you’re able to donate, share, or keep our family in your thoughts and prayers, it would mean more than we can ever express.

Thank you for your love and support during this incredibly difficult time.
