Support Michelle Champ's Battle Against Cancer

Our dear friend Michelle Champ is currently going through the battle of her life with blood cancer, otherwise known as Multiple Myeloma. So we have started this gofundme to raise funds to keep her from stressing about bills while she fights this terrible disease. Michelle has been an integral part of the Bay Area metal scene with her long time work with Reality Check TV. She needs help, so anything at all is greatly appreciated. Below are words from her from a recent FB post.

To the friends and followers of the Shell show !

If you know anything about me, you know that I share all the stuff! last Wednesday August 14 they found a spot on my right arm!

I was told that I would get a biopsy in 10 days!

I didn’t last 10 days on Friday the 16th while I was working from home. I went to lift something with my left arm and it wobble and I overcompensated with my right and it snapped my arm in half.

I called 911 and my journey began. I first went to the Marysville hospital. I was there nine hours from there. I transferred to Kaiser Roseville and I was there until I was discharged Tuesday from there. I stayed at my mom‘s for a couple days and I’ve been at a hotel resting since then!

I went to a hotel because I needed to have complete quiet and in a controlled environment where people could come visit me.

Wednesday, August 21. I will have surgery to fix my arm and start the process.

I have been diagnosed with (Multiple Myeloma)

i have a blood cancer!!! I have a long road ahead of me in surgery. They will fix my arm because the cancer ate all the way across my arm. I’ve had this for over a year. They will fix my arm and put rods in it. when they do that, it will spread a little bit, I will go to where I’m going to recover and if everything goes well for the first two weeks, they will start (radiation )

They will radiate my arm and then I’ll do a series of chemotherapy pills and chemotherapy, IV drugs, but there’s more it’s metastasize in my skull !!!!

I have two areas in my skull that we’re not even dealing with right now.

My treatment is detailed and my treatment is long. I’m not getting into life expectancy because I believe I’m going to be the miracle that is never happened before. However, I am realist and I know that God has a plan for my life and I might not be here long-term

Right now they say if everything goes well a decade it could be shorter or longer.

I will know more as I get closer. All we wanna do is each step at a time. My closest family members know, and some of my dear friends already know

My team of media will finish the process and will get you the tickets that you’ve already for the people that won. We still have one phase left to give the two passes away now I know that that’s not a priority right now in my personal life, but I wanted to have something hopeful, my team will apply for even though that’s not really our priority.

I'd like to take a moment and thank my family that has come and helped me every day. My son Jesse has taken the lead in helping me with this process. Each son has their own unique gift and I need each one of them, my sisters have come to me with different types of health, there have been times when I was scared and I’m gonna be scared in the future, but I don’t have time to have fear rule me. I have a God that I love and I believe that I will be healed. I hope you guys know that I’m gonna miss you daily, but I’m in the background so if you wanted to reach out to this post and give me any kind of support that would be great, I’m trying to figure out my job and help me with filling the paperwork out.

I've been saying for years that I didn’t know if I had enough time and there’s been times when people say why do you take so many pictures? Why do you do what you do because I wanted to document my life I had no idea that this is what my story would be, but that’s what it is so here I am humbly coming to you and letting you know that I’m brave I’m strong and I will beat this so I love you guys and I just wanna tell you I’m gonna miss you.!
