A Challenging Time for Michelle Burke

Recently, while undergoing what was expected to be a routine surgery, Michelle was diagnosed with cancer. With the discovery of the thyroid cancer, there was more cancer, found elsewhere. Michelle is undergoing a second cancer, removal, surgery. This diagnosis came as a shock, but Michelle has already shown amazing hope, strength, and determination to fight through what will be some challenging treatment.

We are so grateful for the care of the community and wish to thank all of you for the outpouring of kind words and compassion. We are currently in the process of learning more about the options for Michelle’s medical treatment, and expect that there will be significant expenses associated with getting her the best possible care.

Your overwhelming contributions to the Go Fund Me have provided the family with peace of mind as they explore treatment options with various leading healthcare teams.
