Support Michelle Alvarado's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Hi. My name is Brooke. I'm trying to help my sister-in-law, Michelle Alvarado. Michelle is an amazing person and mother. Recently, she had a huge life-changing experience.
On 5/5/24 out of nowhere, Michelle suffered cardiac arrest. Much thanks to a National City Fireman Nick. Told EMT to take her to Sharp Memorial. Her husband started CPR, EMT continued till she arrived at Sharp Memorial. There, they were able to use the lucas device. She was on CPR for 90 minutes. She was also placed on ECMO, a machine that takes over heart and lung function when a patient's organs don't work on their own. She survived 90 minutes of CPR and was put on life support. She is a strong woman and has a long road of recovery ahead. I am asking for help with medical expenses and also keeping their home together during this difficult time. She will not be able to work for three months and needs to focus on recovery.
Michelle holds the family together. She is a school counselor and such a great mom and wife. God made sure everything went right with each step during this time in her life and I want to make sure she gets the help and support she needs since she’s always the one to help everyone else. She is a blessing to many people and kids around San Diego.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read a little about Michelle’s story.
A big shout out to everyone working that day in the ER. Dr. Levine & ECMO specialist, he never gave up on Michelle.
