Support Michele's Journey with ALS Care
Donation protected
Our family is raising funds to help support our sister Michele Aluisy, who was recently diagnosed with Bulbar ALS. ALS is a fast-moving degenerative disease also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Michele and her family recently installed a wheelchair ramp and a chair lift, and will soon need to remodel a bathroom and bedroom downstairs to make it wheelchair accessible. She may eventually need nursing care. The goal is to allow Michele to stay at home with her family and be sure it is safe and comfortable. If you know Michele, you know this is not something she wants public, but so many have made offers of help that we would like to show her that people care. Michele is cherished as a wife of 40 years, a mother to 3 grown children, a daughter, a sister, and a co-worker. She served for 20 years at the Falmouth Hospital where she showed care and compassion to many. This is a great opportunity to return that care and compassion. If you have some dollars to spare and wish to show your support, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
