Michele's Angels

This GoFundMe page is dedicated to my mom, Michele Nicholas. In December 2023 she was diagnosed with Endometrial Cancer, a rare and aggressive cancer. This cancer has been so aggressive it has adapted and mutated with every attempt we made to provide my mom with more quality of life. We are here now, 6 months later providing round the clock care, utilizing home hospice services and desperately seeking to control the immense pain caused by this terrible disease.

Before Jesus went to the cross it says He cried out to God, and angels came to STRENGTHEN Him. “Father, if you are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.” Then an angel from heaven appeared and strengthened him." -Luke 22

We are asking you, to come alongside and STRENGTHEN us as we care for my mom, Michele. As her angels.

My mother is only 61 years old.

Michele spent the past two decades of her life providing care for others who were nearing end of life. She had a beautiful career as nursing home activities director, and later as a building manager within Assisted Living. She shares her loving gift of hospitality with friends, co-workers, and family alike. Her husband, Jim Nicholas has also dedicated his life to serving others through pastoral ministry and remodeling homes. Both my parents can be found serving those in their community and building relationships within their church family. It is a devastating loss to accept that things will never again look the same.

Now that Michele's employment has ended - the family is in need of monthly financial support to cover the cost of living, continued insurance coverage which provides us hospice care and additional medical expenses that have been accrued during this excruciating process. All donations will go directly to sustain on time bill-pay in these areas.
