- My name is Michele Tompkins-Hines, and I’m a 4th grade teacher at Garrett Elementary. As a teacher, I know how important education is; however, education doesn’t just end in the classroom. This year, I will be taking my 4th graders to the aquarium . In order to do that, we must rent a charter bus to take us there. We are 2 1/2 hours away, so that alone is very pricey. With the trip, we also want to provide students with lunch in the dining area, which is also very pricey, and a customized T-shirt. I am asking for donations to help support the trip and make it come to fruition because some of our students have never left Augusta, and we want to make their experience memorable. No donation is too small. All proceeds go directly to the school account to pay for the trip. Thank you for your kind hearts in advance.
