I recently had a total gastrectomy.

There were complications.

I then had another operation a few days later to repair the complications.

I spent 4 days in the ICU.

I had problems with my heart and lungs during the operations.

I'm now also on an oxygen machine and take heart medicine.

I was in the hospital for over a month.

I have had to learn to walk and breathe at the same time.

My husband Chris is my caregiver. I have a TPN infusion for around 15 hours a day. He's doing a great job.
