Support Michele Nash's Battle with Colon Cancer

My name is Rhyess Nash. Some of you may know my father, Bill Nash. For those who don't, my dad is a retired Norwich Police Officer, has coached in various sports programs in the city, and has been a city councilman in Norwich for the last 18 years.

He's been a servant of the Norwich community for all of my life. Whether upholding the Law or representing the people of this town. He's done these things because he wanted to and felt purpose through them but for the first time, he and the rest of the Nash family are asking for help...

In March of this year, my mother, Michele, was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. As one can imagine, it was a huge shock for us and we were quickly inundated with a tsunami of information and expectations. We have taken all of them on the chin, except for one...the medical bills.

We are in a difficult place, financially, given the sudden nature of this news and the steep costs of the treatment. We are reaching out to ask those who are able to, to consider donating so that our family can wade through this flood of medical expenses. We do not ask lightly, we are in some ways ashamed to ask others for money for any reason, however, this time, we feel like there is no other choice.
