Help Save Our favorite, selfless, benevolent neighbor and friend, Michele Pipkin's Car from the tow yard – A Lifeline for Our Community

Dear friends and neighbors,

We’re coming together today for someone who has always been there for us—Michele Pipkin. Michele, with one "L," is more than just a neighbor; she's a vital thread in the fabric of our community.

Despite her own challenges living with a disability, Michele has made it her mission to care for others. She drives several of our terminally ill and disabled residents to doctor appointments, grocery stores, and essential errands. She also couriers our neighbors to and from the hospital when there is an emergency health crisis, no matter the time of day or night. She also takes residents to do fun activities like taking rides to go see the ocean or the farmers market, never asking for anything in return.

Now, Michele needs us.

Due to limited income and growing financial pressures, Michele has fallen behind on her vehicle’s registration. And with new management in our housing complex enforcing a strict policy, cars with expired tags will be towed immediately.

If Michele’s vehicle is taken, she won’t just lose her car—we all lose a lifeline.

Her ability to serve others would be cut off. The people she helps daily would be stranded. And a woman who has given so much would be left without the one tool that helps her give: her car.

We are starting this GoFundMe campaign to raise the funds needed to cover Michele’s back registration costs and protect her from losing her car. This is urgent, and we’re calling on everyone who has been touched by Michele’s kindness and generosity—or who simply believes in community care—to pitch in.
