URGENT: Help Save Frankie the Husky — Emergency Surgery Needed (Again)

Frankie, our beautiful, fun-loving husky, is in a fight for his life — for the second time.

This sweet boy has once again swallowed lava rocks that spilled into our yard from a neighbor’s property. These rocks are causing a dangerous blockage in his stomach, and he now needs emergency surgery to survive. Since the vet cannot schedule the surgery until Tuesday, he must be admitted through after-hours emergency care, making the cost significantly higher at least $2,500.

Frankie went through this exact trauma before, and now it’s happening again — because of the neighbor’s negligence.

Despite being fined and ordered by the City of Warren to clean up the lava rock spill, the neighbor failed to comply. Michele, Frankie’s devoted human, has tried everything — reporting the issue, protecting her yard, and even dealing with false complaints made in retaliation. Those complaints were all dismissed — but sadly, Frankie is the one still suffering.

Michele is absolutely heartbroken and desperate to save her best friend.

Frankie is more than a dog — he’s her emotional rock, her companion, her family. Anyone who’s loved a husky knows they are full of life, stubbornness, love, and loyalty. Frankie doesn’t understand why he’s in pain — he just wants to be home, safe in his yard, playing with his favorite toys and cuddling with Michele.

We are raising $3,000 to cover:

Emergency surgery

Overnight care

Follow-up visits and medications

Transportation and hospitalization fees

Any additional funds raised beyond Frankie’s care will be donated to a local Husky rescue. Let’s help other pups like him, too.
