Hello, I have had the privilege of knowing and working with Michele Bernard for over 2.5 years. We first connected in December 2022, and she began traveling with Treva Workforce in April 2023. Since then, every facility she has worked at and every patient she has cared for has raved about her compassion, skill, and dedication. She is truly an angel on earth, spending her days caring for hospice patients in their final hours, comforting grieving families, and ensuring their loved ones pass with dignity, peace, and comfort. Outside of work, she is a devoted single mother to five children, sacrificing endlessly to give them the best life possible.

In 2020, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and fought with strength and grace, ultimately beating it. Tragically, in January 2025, the cancer returned. She was admitted to the hospital this week, where doctors confirmed it has spread to her bones, brain, spleen, and lungs. It is now stage 4.

She is facing enormous medical expenses, from hospital bills and ongoing testing to prescriptions, specialized dressings, treatments, and even homeopathic therapies to support her quality of life. For a woman who has spent her entire life caring for others, it is now our turn to care for her.
