Hello, my name is Brittany Gordon and I am trying to raise money for my father, Micheal Maddalena. I have started this GoFundMe for him as things financially have become more and more tight. Most people do not know the struggles medically my father has gone through; he is currently in end-stage kidney failure and is waiting for at-home dialysis, is severely anemic, and has been recently hospitalized with pneumonia causing severe breathing problems. He also has had heart surgery and continues to have high blood pressure. With all of this going on, he has many, many doctor visits and is currently uninsured. We have tried to apply for help, but until we start dialysis at home, he is unable to get assistance. He is currently unemployed and has had to use his retirement funds just to pay his medical bills and everyday needs. He is in dire need of assistance and help as we wait for his social security and disability to be approved. Any help counts.
