My sister Michal is going through a barrage of medical issues and surgeries.

She is recovering from a recent hysterectomy for severe endometriosis, has been grappling with long covid since 2020, and is poised to get a much needed breast reduction at the end of April. She has been experiencing severe daily pain for more than a decade, and is thrilled to finally be able to get the surgery that will make it possible to live life without pain and to meaningfully treat the secondary conditions that have resulted.

We are wanting to help ensure a smooth and stress-free recovery, and help her be able to focus on healing from the multitude of medical issues she has been bravely facing for so many years.

Each donation will help pay for her living and medical expenses, so she can fully dedicate her energy to healing and recovering.

Michal is one of the bravest and kindest people I have ever met. She survived a truly heinous childhood in a religious cult, a brutal TBI in her early adulthood, and has navigated her way through life with the kindness and love that I can only aspire to have. She works with abused equines with her partner, and is a community organizer in Missoula, Montana.
