We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support for our dad, Michael Chargualaf Inocentes.

After struggling with chronic headaches and other ongoing health issues, his doctors recommended further testing in the Philippines at St. Luke’s Medical Center. During rigorous testing, we received devastating news — a tumor was discovered behind his inner left eye.

Following consultations with specialists, we’ve learned that the safest and most effective treatment is a complex surgery that will be performed overseas. Our parents will be flying back to St. Luke’s Medical Center, where experienced surgeons are able to carry out the procedure. However, the costs are overwhelming. Between travel, medical expenses, lodging, and recovery care, our family simply cannot shoulder this burden alone.

Our dad is a loving father, grandfather and husband. He’s a quiet, hardworking man who has sacrificed so much for our family and has always put others first — now he needs us more than ever. This surgery offers the best chance not only to save his eyesight, but possibly his life. We hope that this operation will help heal him enough to get back to the simple joys he loved so much, like spending quality time fishing with family at the beach.

Our mom will be by his side every step of the way, leaving work and responsibilities behind to care for him. But with everything moving so quickly, we’re struggling to raise the funds to make this possible.
