Michael Joyce is my fiancé, and just recently, our lives changed overnight. After returning home from a flight to visit his mother, Michael settled in for what we thought would be a regular night. Early in the morning, he woke up to a stroke attacking the entire left side of his body. It was a terrifying and unexpected event that has left us both shaken and facing a long road ahead.

Michael is someone who has always given so much of himself to others. His big, beautiful heart has touched so many people, and now he needs our help more than ever. The stroke has left him with significant challenges, and the coming year will be focused on his recovery—physically, emotionally, and financially. We are doing everything we can, but the costs of medical bills, housing, and ongoing physical therapy are overwhelming.
