Support Michael's Road to Recovery

Michael Young was in a tragic accident on Saturday, June First, that has left him in the ICU on a ventilator. He has several orthopedic injuries and fractures, including a pelvic fracture that will need to be surgically fixed. Michael has undergone several surgeries already and has at the very least one more to go, with the possibility of more surgeries on the horizon. He has a collapsed lung, and other internal injuries as well as a brain bleed. Our first priority is getting Michael healed and out of the ICU into the step-down unit.

However, we know that Michael has a very long recovery ahead of him and he will be unable to work for at minimum six to eight months, with possibilities of that being longer. If you know Michael, you know that he would give the shirt off his back to someone in need, and he is also a very hard worker. As his daughter, I know that when he wakes up, he will be more worried about taking care of his wife and their fur child, Azul, financially than he would be about his recovery, as he will be unable to work.

We as a family would like to thank you for any support you may give to Michael, his wife, and the rest of his family. Even prayers and well wishes would be so greatly appreciated as we navigate Michael’s long recovery.
