My name is Michael, and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times in my life. After losing my grandparents, I found myself without a stable place to live and my health has been on a steady decline. Over the years, I’ve faced many hospital visits, but nothing has brought lasting improvement. I’ve struggled with my weight, and a parasite I contracted at an early age was never properly diagnosed, which led to ongoing health issues. Just last month, while sleeping in my car—a car I was fortunate to receive from a relative—I suffered a stroke. I realized the severity of my condition only when it was almost too late. Despite several emergency room visits and seeing a primary care doctor, I still don’t have a full diagnosis, and my recovery has been challenging.

Right now, I am doing my best to recover and move forward, but I need help. The funds I raise here will go directly toward securing temporary housing, covering daily essentials, and accessing the medical care I need to get back on my feet. I am humbled by the kindness I see in my community every day. Even though I tend to keep to myself, seeing others smile has helped me appreciate life and the people around me.
