On April 28th, Mike underwent a major open-heart surgery (CABG) at Kootenai Medical Center. The procedure was extensive—he came out of surgery with multiple IVs, a central line, a catheter, three chest tubes, and numerous medications to support his recovery.

While the surgery was necessary, the road ahead will be long. Mike is expected to be out of work for at least four months as he focuses on healing and regaining strength. During this time, the financial strain on his family will be significant, with medical bills and everyday expenses continuing to add up.
