This week, our friend and fellow barber Michael faced a sudden and frightening challenge—a detached retina that required urgent surgery. For those who know Michael, you know how dedicated he is to his craft and how much he cares about his clients and coworkers. Unfortunately, as a barber, his work depends entirely on his vision, and his doctors have told him he’ll need at least a month away from the chair to heal properly.

Being out of work means Michael won’t have any income during this time, and the medical bills and daily expenses are already starting to add up. We’re coming together as friends and coworkers to help ease some of the financial stress so Michael can focus on his recovery without worrying about how to pay the bills or keep up with rent and groceries.
