Support Michael's Kodiak Ocean Challenge

Hello my name is Michael Bartsevich. I am a 21 year old 2nd gen from New York and I have been chosen to be a part of the 2024 Kodiak Ocean Challenge this summer. This is an annual program that was initiated by True Father in 1981, and it has been designed to cultivate faith and leadership with a focus on summer fishing in the Atlantic. Apart from an opportunity for me to grow in my faith, spirituality, and discipline, this challenge also offers insight into the love and devotion that True Parents have invested into Ocean Providence.

True Father says the following in his autobiography: “The oceans hold the key to solving the food crisis of the future. This is the reason I have been pioneering the oceans for the past several decades. We cannot build a world of peace without first resolving the food issue.” I believe it is our duty to revive the spirit of the Ocean to serve Heavenly Parent’s dream of one unified family. The bountiful resources and plentiful fruits that the ocean provides are the drivers by which our movement can reach a realized Kingdom of Heaven on Earth.

I know that many of us don’t have the financial or logistical opportunity to take 5 weeks off during the summer to experience the potential of Ocean Church in Kodiak, Alaska. However, I am willing to represent all of those who are willing to contribute to this journey. Through your financial support, you are able to offer a foundation for your own development in the Ocean Providence. You are directly contributing to me receiving this guidance and heart so that I can bring it back to my community and multiply it.
