It is with great heartache that I'm requesting any help for my youngest daughter, Amanda, her fiance’ Michael, and their 2 children.

This year has been mentally and physically taxing on them. On October 20th, 2024, my grandson was hit by a car. He had been thrown several feet in the air and sustained injuries to his head, pelvis fractures, tears in knee and multiple open wounds from skidding accross the pavement. He was in the hospital and was home from school for quite some time. Thankfully, he is now almost fully functioning, but the impact took its toll on my daughter who started to experience severe panic disorder and depression after arriving at the scene of the accident and seeing her son incapacitated. She is now undergoing treatment. Between taking care of her boy and her condition, she stopped working and Mike was the sole provider for the family. Recently, he started having heart related problems and hasn’t worked in almost 2 months; as per the doctor's strict orders. So far he has had an abnormal EKG, an abnormal stress test, and an abnormal echocardiogram. The underlying issues we know of at this time is moderate regurgitation in his left ventricles with dilation. This includes the mitral valve, tricuspid valve, and aortic. He has moderate global hypokinesis of the entire left ventricle. My son in law is undergoing further testing and scans in the upcoming weeks to determine what can be done to improve his health. At this time, my daughter has sought out many resources through the county and charities and all have been denied. We are asking for your assistance in any way that you can to support them through this difficult time. Of course, prayers are always welcomed. We appreciate your love and support. Thank you.
