Support Gus's (aka Michael) Brain Cancer Battle

GoFundMe was made for circumstances like this one; A few months ago, our dear friend Gustavo, aka Michael Vaughan, wasn’t feeling well and went to the hospital. After some testing, the doctors found a (new) brain tumor. Gus has battled brain cancer twice already and is now on round three. Due to chronic pain, emotionally and physically, they have been struggling to make ends meet for life’s most basic necessities. Rent, groceries, utilities, and small pleasures have become impossible to keep up with, and we’re asking for help.

If you know Gus, you'll know they are an incredible and supportive friend, unique, hilarious, so loveable, ultra-creative, stylish, and they continue to do the best a human can do in this terminal situation. Being the third time they are going through this, Gus has made the difficult decision to opt out of traditional cancer treatments like radiation or chemotherapy and focus on quality of life instead. That includes affording their apartment, getting out of debt, past and future medical bills, and of course, simple pleasures like ice cream and pretty nails, because we all deserve ANYTHING that helps, and this is exactly why GoFundMe exists!
