Support Michael's Fight Against Multiple Myeloma

Hi everyone,

I’m raising funds for my little brother, Michael.

As some of you may remember, Michael was diagnosed in late 2021 with Plasmacytoma (a plasma cell mutation that causes a tumor to grow on the bone) . His cancer has recently progressed to Multiple Myeloma, an incurable cancer of the bones that results in multiple tumors throughout the skeleton. On Thursday he was rushed to the ER where they discovered another collapsed vertebrae and multiple tumors throughout his spine and rib cage. He’s been going through radiation treatments to target the most pressing tumors in an attempt to relieve pain and reduce the risk of spinal cord damage. 

Once radiation is complete, he’s looking at multiple rounds of chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant to get him healthy again. We don’t expect this to be any shorter than a 7-9 month journey, plus more for a full recovery. Although it’s a lifelong , incurable disease it does respond well to treatment.

Michael as you may know him is in great spirits, and is looking to take this head on.
