It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Michael at 30 years old. Michael had a loving spirit and deep heart. During his time in Henderson, he was devoted to help take care of his grandfather. He helped coordinate doctor’s appointments, drove him to visits, managed parts of his care, and made sure he was eating and not alone. As his grandfather struggled to leave the house due to his health, Michael stayed by his side offering companionship, patience, and love. He never looked at it as a burden; he simply showed up. That was the kind of loyal person he was. Losing him so suddenly has left us in shock and heartbroken. Michael’s family is currently trying to bring him home from Henderson, Nevada to Bakersfield, California so we can lay him to rest surrounded by family. The cost of transportation and funeral arrangements has come to approximately $28,000 — an amount that is overwhelming for our family during this already painful time.
