Hi everyone,
I’m sharing this on behalf of my husband, Michael, who has been courageously battling from nodular lymphocyte-predominant hodgkin lymphoma (NLPHL) to diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL), a fast growing aggressive cancer for nearly two years. He’s undergone two rounds of chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant, but unfortunately, they weren’t successful. After multiple biopsies and countless procedures, Michael is now in his third round of chemotherapy at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis—still fighting with everything he has.
Right now, Michael is in the ICU. The toll this disease has taken on his body is immense, but his spirit remains unshaken. Even in the most critical moments, he continues to hold on to hope. He keeps smiling, never loses faith, and stays strong—especially for his children, who are his greatest motivation. Watching him endure this journey with so much courage has been both heartbreaking and inspiring. I am so incredibly proud of him every single day.
Michael hasn’t been able to work for a long time due to the intensity of his treatments. The physical, emotional and financial burden has become overwhelming. From extensive medical care and long hospital stays to travel between hospitals and day-to-day costs continue to grow. We’ve done everything we can to manage but we now find ourselves in a place where we need help. We’re asking, from the bottom of our hearts, for your support—whether that means donating, sharing this page, or simply keeping Michael in your thoughts and prayers. Every bit of kindness means the world to us and helps lighten the load during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you so much for standing with us. Your generosity gives us strength, hope, and the ability to keep going.
With love and gratitude,
Jela & Family
