Hi everyone, I am reaching out during a very difficult time for someone whom not only has been a friend & part of my family for 30 years, but for someone I share my son with. Michael & his wife got devastating news on June 21,2024 after a hospital visit for what he thought may have just been kidney stones. Turns out Michael has stage 4 renal/kidney cancer & needs to undergo invasive treatment & surgery to remove the kidney because it is fast spreading. As we all know, no one plans nor prepares for news like this. He can't continue working at this time & has to take a leave for an unforeseen amount of time. He is very anxious & scared to say the least battling what is ahead of him but at the same time he's stressed out beyond worrying about how to take care of not only medical expenses but daily living expenses. These times are hard for all of us & it's very difficult for anyone to ask for help in times of need. I wanted to do this for Michael & Kim because Michael has just started his life with his wife & children. I know Michael has wanted that always it just took a little longer for him to get here. Now that he is, the worst has come upon them & want to help in anyway I can. I know my shane would want the same , I know he will be holding his hand through every step of this.
