Support Michaela’s Journey through Cancer and Infertility

Our dear friends Michaela and Jordyn are walking through a difficult and unexpected season, and we’re reaching out to rally their community in love, prayer, and support.

A few months ago, Michaela had some polyps removed—and what doctors initially thought was routine turned out to be something much more serious. She was recently diagnosed with stage one endometrial cancer, a rare and deeply unexpected diagnosis for someone her age—affecting less than 1% of women in her age group.

Thankfully, because the cancer was caught early, Michaela’s oncologist is hopeful. For now, she is undergoing hormone therapy, with biopsies every four months to monitor the cancer. The current plan is to manage the cancer as safely as possible in the short term and eventually proceed with a full hysterectomy.

But Michaela’s journey is even more layered.

She and her husband Jordyn have been struggling with infertility for the past three years. In the face of that heartbreak, they have remained strong in their faith and their desire to grow their family. Their doctor has given them a hopeful window: if her biopsies remain clear for a full year, they can begin trying to conceive.

This journey will be long, emotional, and financially burdensome—involving continuous monitoring, testing, procedures, and ultimately a major surgery.

Through all of this, Michaela and Jordyn have leaned deeply on their faith in God. Now, we want to give their community the chance to come around them in a tangible way—to lift up their arms when they grow tired, and to help ease the weight of the financial strain this season brings.
