My name is Jen and I am a friend of Michael Barbarich. His mother just passed away in New Mexico, and I would like to raise some funds to help Michael pay for burial expenses, not limited to funeral home costs and travel.

Michael was recently out of work due to an injury, and though he is now back at work, his emergency finances were wiped out. He and his son Yakov are doing great, but they could use a little financial boost during this unanticipated time.

If you are able to make any donation, it will be appreciated. If you cannot, some words of comfort and support are welcome as well!

We have raised $1,000 which is wonderful! Thank you, thank you to those who have donated. This money will be put to good use. Michael plans to drive to New Mexico in the next week or two so he can start to take care of some business. As some of us know, this process is not an easy one and can take some time!

We are still hoping to get him some more financial support, specifically because cremation services cost approximately $2,600, and time away from Wisconsin is time not working and not making money.
