Hello Everyone,

My name is Michael Starrett. I'm an OTR truck driver, before trucking I was a law enforcement officer, and a dad & grandpaw. I've been on the road as a truck driver for the last 10 years delivering all over the US. At the beginning of July 2024, I started to get super sick and ended up being hospitalized for almost a month. I became septic due to Acute Hypoxic Respiratory Failure in one of my lungs. I also had to get 3 coronary stents placed due to Coronary Artery Disease. While in recovery from the heart procedure, my body was still feeling effects and caused me to fall and break my ankle.

I am at home recovering, but I won't be released back to work for an unseen amount of time. Between the medical bills, new medications I now have to get, and regulars bills on top of all of this, things are getting pretty tight.
